The LORD's Memorial Supper brings us to see Jesus was (bread) the unique, sinless Son of God and Jesus died (cup) a vicarious, substitutionary death for many (us).
God has always required an offering "without blemish" so as to foreshadow the True and Ultimate offering for all sin found only in Jesus Christ, the Lamb "without spot."
