A wise disciple maker will encourage his disciples to ponder (consider, think about it over time, mull it over) his teaching of the revelations God has granted - that in time, God will grant the disciple a fuller grasp or understanding of His truths.
It behooves every Christ-follower to avoid remaining simple (limited understanding) but to increase in knowledge and understanding of the LORD and His Gospel in Christ.
